Business programs
Four programs, and the right one depends on what you do with the product rather than how much of it you buy. None of them require a contract, a minimum order or an inventory commitment.
Which one is you?
-
You run equipment or a fleet and buy lubricant to use, not to resell.
Commercial Account
For fleets, contractors, farms and anyone whose equipment has to be running tomorrow morning.
-
You install lubricant in customers' vehicles — a garage, quick lube or dealership.
Installer Account
For full-service garages, quick lubes, powersports dealers and specialty shops.
-
You sell to the public from a storefront.
Retail Account
For auto parts stores, hardware stores, powersports dealers and other storefronts.
-
You want to build your own independent business selling AMSOIL.
Become an AMSOIL Dealer
For someone who wants to run the business themselves, the way I do.
One thing worth knowing about the forms
Four programs resolve to three application forms. AMSOIL does not currently publish a separate installer application — their own installer page hands applicants to the retail account form, and that is the correct form to submit.
- Fleet or equipment owner — commercial account application.
- Service garage or installer — start on AMSOIL's installer page, which has the installer-specific benefits, then submit the retail account application it links to.
- Storefront — retail account application.
- Building your own business — Dealer registration.
I flag this because a form headed "Retail" is confusing when you came in as an installer. It is not a wrong turn, and the account you get is the right one. (Confirmed on AMSOIL's site 2026-08-27; I will re-check it before you apply.)
What is the same across all four
- No contracts, no purchase minimums and no inventory quotas.
- Free standard shipping once an order reaches AMSOIL's qualifying total.
- The full product line — none of the programs restrict what you can order.
- AMSOIL owns the account, the pricing, the shipping and the support. I help you pick the program and stay reachable afterwards.
- AMSOIL ships in packaged sizes from quarts up to totes. There is no bulk tanker delivery.
