Start with what you drive or run
Fifteen equipment types below. Each one opens AMSOIL's lookup for that machine, so fitment comes from their data rather than from anybody's memory.

Car & Light Truck
Daily drivers, commuters and half-tons. Start with the lookup — it reads your year, make and model and tells you exactly which oil, filter and fluids fit.

Turbodiesel Truck
Power Stroke, Duramax and Cummins. Towing heat and long drain intervals are where synthetic diesel oil earns its money.

Heavy-Duty Diesel Equipment
Class 8, excavators, loaders and anything that bills by the hour. Bypass filtration and oil analysis are the two levers that move cost per hour.

Agriculture
Tractors, combines, hydraulics and PTO gear. Long seasons, dusty air and equipment that cannot afford a breakdown at harvest.

Power Equipment
Mowers, generators, chainsaws, pressure washers, string trimmers. Small engines run hot and get neglected — the oil is doing more work than you think.

V-Twin Motorcycle
Harley-Davidson and other big twins. Air-cooled, high-load, and unforgiving of thin oil in August traffic.

Street & Adventure Motorcycle
Metric sport, touring and ADV bikes with a wet clutch. JASO MA2 matters here — the wrong oil will make the clutch slip.

Dirt Bike
Motocross and trail. Short, brutal duty cycles, and a gearbox sharing oil with a clutch that lives at redline.

ATV / UTV
Side-by-sides and quads. Low speed, high load, lots of heat and no airflow — plus a CVT or dual-clutch that wants its own fluid.

Snowmobile
Cold starts, wide-open throttle and long idles. Two-stroke oil quality shows up as exhaust smoke and ring stick, or the absence of both.

Marine
Outboards, sterndrives and inboards. Constant load, water intrusion and a long off-season are three different problems.

Racing
Track and competition only. Higher zinc, tuned viscosity, and no compromise for emissions equipment.

Motorhome & RV
Gas or diesel pusher, both parked more than they run. Long storage plus sudden long hauls is a hard combination for conventional oil.

Scooter
Small displacement, high revs, short trips. The oil never gets a chance to burn off moisture, so change intervals matter more than you'd guess.

Personal Watercraft
Supercharged four-strokes run near their limit almost the whole time they're wet. Use the lookup — PWC engines are specific.

These are AMSOIL's own guides. Enter your year, make and model and they return the products that fit, with the specification each one meets.
If the lookup and the owner's manual disagree, go with the manual and call me. That usually means the vehicle has a variant AMSOIL's data lists differently, and it is worth two minutes to get right.
