What this is for
Coolant is a corrosion package first and a freeze point second. Heavy-duty diesel adds cylinder-liner cavitation to the list of things the additive package has to prevent, which is why heavy-duty coolants are tested and topped up differently from passenger-car ones.
Check this before you order
Do not mix coolant technologies. Confirm what is already in the system, or flush it, before adding something different.
