What this is for
Diesel oil carries a much larger detergent and dispersant package than gasoline oil because diesel combustion produces far more soot. That soot is what thickens neglected oil and polishes cylinder walls. Towing heat and long idle hours are where a synthetic earns its keep.
Check this before you order
Diesel specs move fast — API CK-4 and FA-4 are not interchangeable, and some engines require one specifically. Confirm the spec against your engine before ordering.
